Page filename rule

Rule for the filename of each HTML page, useful for keeping page filename persisted.

Description of each rule:

·         Default: The filename of HTML pages are named like these, “1.htm”, “2.htm”, “3.htm”... “99.htm”, etc.

·         Heading Text: The filename is similar to the topic title but without space and will be shortened automatically if it is too long.

·         Page ID: Use a unique number as the filename for each page.

·         Topic Number: The filename is same as the heading number, like these, “1.htm”, “1.1.htm”, “1.2.htm”, “2.htm”, “2.1.htm”, etc.

Note:

Page IDs are stored in the file “Project Name.helpid.ini” which is saved to the same folder where the “.word2web” project file is.

DO NOT DELETE THE .helpid.ini FILE!
The file contains the page Ids of every HTML page. Word-2-Web uses it to keep the page IDs persisted. Of course, you can modify the page IDs in this file manual as you wish.

* You could use “Filename Customize Add-in” add-in to rename page file name
